Habit #1:

Dream/Visualization:It is very important to keep your dreams and goals in front of you. Some refer to it as your “Why” . Why are are you doing what your doing.  Spend about 5 minutes each morning thinking and meditating on your dream. It can simply be a car, house, vacation, a lifestyle ect…Put it in the forefront of your mind.  To make time time even more powerful, having picture(s) of what it is you want. Be very Specific. While you are review your dream have inspirational music playing. This will trigger other positive emotions. The key is to engage as many of your senses as possible.

When I do this I simply have my dream pictures on my Sprint phone. They are rotating while I listen to 3 very inspiration sounds in my earphones. Because everything is connected to my phone, I can actually do this while I am running on the treadmill at the gym. Think about it. Isn’t that better than listening to the news while a the treadmill?

Habit #2:

Personal Development: Keep your mind and spirit sharp! Spend 20 minutes a day doing some type of personal development. There is a saying that you will prosper as your soul (mind) prospers. In order to go from where you are to where you want to be it’s going to take some personal growth. You don’t become a millionaire and then think like a millionaire. You actually need to think like a millionaire to become a millionaire.

Wealth starts on the inside. We get bombarded on a daily basis with negativity. In fact, for every negative thought we receive it takes 60 positive thoughts to reverse the effects of that one negative though or image. That’s reason enough to spend time working on yourself. Read or do something positive that will energize you at the start of your day.

Habit #3

Income Producing Activities: This is where the work comes in. Although all 5 things are important, You have to do the work. You cannot do personal development or visualize all day and expect result to happen in your business.

 These are the things that must be done in order to bring income in through your business. There are typically three basic things that you must do consistently in order to produce income:

1. Generate leads: How many people do you want to show you opportunity to on a daily basis?

2. Show them what your offering. Whether it’s a chance to join your team or simply purchase your product.

3. Collect a decision. They are either in or out. Do not convince them!

4. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat!

Habit #4

Leadership: Your prospects as well as your team is looking for leadership. The simplest way to be a leader is to show people that you are going to follow through with your decision. In other words, you started a business for a specific reason. You “WHY”.  By continuing to persevere until you reach your goal is the best display of leadership for your friends, family, potential prospects, and believe it or not your enemies.

People need examples that will imspire them to reach their goals. I said EXAMPLES. Be the example. DO what ever it takes to reach your goals and you will be an inspiration to others. They will want to follow you.

Leaders don’t blame. They simply figure it out. Leaders take person responsibility for their own success.

Habit #5

Mastermind with other leaders:Build a master mind team. I call it your board of directors. Robert Kyrosoki, author of rich dad poor dad, is on my board of directors. No I have not met him. You see, I subscribe to his teachings. He is someone that I listen to when it comes to generating wealth. Wallace D Wattles, Author of “The science of getting rich” is on my board of directors. So are the of self-made millionaires in my business.

Create your own team of people who you want to mastermind with. These people should be folks that you see as role models. People who are where you aspire to be. Not uncle Ned who works at the steel mill and gripes about every new policy that is implemented on the job.

The Gratitude Factor:

I want you to dig into this one on your own. I will an entire blog on gratitude later. Here is something to think about in the mean time. Everyday think of 3 things that you are grateful for. This puts your mind, body, and spirit in a state to receive and attract positive things into your life and business.

1. Drop Cards: This is an excellent and effective way to promote your business. When done right Drop Cards will attract sharp people who are serious about creating a 6 figure income from home. A good drop card will also leave the impression that you are professional and someone that they (your potential business partner) would want to follow. 2. Drop Card ideas:

A. Place them in books that would appeal to your customer. Books on making money, investing, starting a business, Rich dad Poor dad, Leadership books,  ect…This can be done at book stores and even in airports bookstores. Yes be discrete.

B. Slide them on the driver side of car windows so that the driver will see it immediately.

C. Leave them with the check at a nice restaurant.

D. Leave the at ATM machines.

E. Go to a newspaper box, open it up (buy a paper), and put your drop card inside the rest of the papers.

F. Hand them to people that you may want to work with.

G. Basically you can leave them in lots of spots…be creative.

3. Free Internet classifieds: Most of them have a biz op section that works well. In other cases you may have to post in the employment section which means that you will have to be creative with you wording.

a. Craigslist: very good place to place ads. Here are a few simply tips to be aware of. Go to www.gmail.comto sign up for a new email account. Use that email as your email to sign up for your new craigslist account at www.craigslist.com. You can repeat this to develop additional accounts. Hint: Delete your browser history and cookies each time you place an ad in craigslist. This keeps you from getting flagged.

b. Another site: www.backpage.com

 c. www.bokrin.com 

d. Basically if you Google free online classified ads you will get a list of cool places to can place ads for free.

4. Personal Contact Marketing (PCM): Yes, this is FREE, FREE, FREE. Talking to people that you know who are the kind of person you will want to work with.

A. Third party referral: If you struggle with this then refer them to your trainer, advisor or the person who is helping you. Here is a great way to position or pitch your biz. You would say: “Jim, I am being mentored by a very sharp person by the name of Terry. Terry is a very successful business person and has taken me under his/her wing to show me how to earn a 6 figure income from home. I am not sure if you are interested in creating that kind of income, but if so, I would like to introduce you to Terry. You get the idea. Put your own words to it.

B. Person to Person: Use your drop card or your regular Biz card to give someone who may be a potential partner.

5. Flyers: Simply make a flyer on your computer, print them at the local print shop and hand them out in places where there are people that you want to work with. Drop cards work the same way. Example: Let’s say that you are a farmer and there’s a farmers convention in town. You can hand out flyers that say something like: “ Farmer makes Big Bucks in home Biz. Find out how. Go to: www.bybyratrace.com Or call 1 800 707 3994 for more info. The key is to be creative and keep it simple.
